Tomatoes and Eggs Recipe
Are you planning to throw a bridal shower for your friend at home? Then you must be worried about what bridal shower food to cook. You could be creative enough and invent your own recipes of tomatoes and eggs. You could mix other ingredients as well. You can use these ingredients to either make appetizers, starters or to prepare a slightly heavy recipe.
You could try doing stuffed egg. This is an amazing starter. The ingredients are :-
- Boiled eggs
- Tomatoes
- Onions
- Salt
- Clack pepper
- Other veggies like French beans and carrot (optional)
- Cheese
- Olive oil
Method :-
- Remove the shells of boiled eggs and cut them in two halves. This way you can serve two portions out of one egg. Remove the yolk and put it in a mixing bowl.
- Chop the tomatoes and onions finely. Chop the carrots and French beans and steam them till they cook.
- Take a pan and add just about a tea spoon of olive oil. Stir fry the onions till they cook and then add the tomatoes. Let this mixture cook for a minute.
- Once the onion and tomatoes are cooked remove this mixture in a bowl and let it cool a little.
- If you want to add the other veggies, take the cooked beans and carrot in a bowl and mash them so that they become soft. Let them cool a little.
- Mix the mixture of tomatoes and onions and the mashed veggies in the yolk. Add some cheese. Add salt and black pepper. Mix all these ingredients well.
- Fill it in the hollow part of the eggs.
- This tastes good and is easy to make. This serves as a nice healthy starter.
One more option which you could serve as a dish rather than a starter is scrambled eggs with onion and tomato.

- Black pepper
- Salt
- Whole wheat bread
- Eggs
Method :-
- Chop the tomatoes and onions finely
- Take a pan and add a tea spoon of olive oil. Stir fry the onions till they become soft and cooked. Add the tomatoes later and let it cook for a minute.
- Once this is cooked, break the eggs directly into the pan and stir vigorously
- The eggs would be cooked and become scrambled. They would blend nicely with the tomato and onion mixture.
- Add salt and black pepper to this. This is ready to serve with wheat bread.
- This is not really a starter. It is quite a wholesome recipe. However, it is easy to make and tastes good.
Whatever dish you select to prepare from tomatoes and eggs, make sure that both the ingredients are not overcooked because their cooking time is less. In addition to this we would like to give one more advice. Eggs soak salt, sugar and other dissolving ingredients faster than tomatoes, so you need to add those ingredients to tomatoes first and then to the eggs.
