Bridal Shower Observation Games

Observation bridal shower game is the easiest game.This game keeps your guests very busy and brings fun in the party simultaneously.

This game is more suitable for women or when you invite only women for bridal shower party. Because, this game has a theme to observe what the bride has wore and obviously this subject is always interesting for women.

Preparation for the observation bridal shower game:

• Get some pieces of paper and pens

• Some posters or magazines (women magazines)

• Let all your guests sit on their chosen places

• Now, give the paper piece and pen to each of your guests

• Ask the bride to walk around, so all your guests will try to memorize what the bride is wearing

• After that the bride has to leave the room

• Now, the participants must write down what the bride was wearing. Give everyone five minutes to memorize and write

• After five minutes everyone has to stop writing

• Now, the bride could come back in the room. The person who wrote most items (correctly) that the bride wore would be the winner of the game.

• Keeping magazines and posters are just to make the participant confused

If there are couples invited for the bridal shower party then you can use modified version of this observation game. “Don’t touch it” is the modified version of observation game. In this game all guests must observe the other guest’s behavior.

• You could ban any common activity that we all do most of the time, for example, touching our hair or touching our pockets or purse

• You can tell your guests that touching hair or pockets/purse is not allowed

• Write the name of each guest on the paper pieces and make sure that each guest will get one piece of paper on which the guests’ names are written

• Now, the guests must keep observing who is touching his/her hair or pocket and how many times throughout the bridal shower party

• If anyone observes that the other person touches his/her hair or moved hand into their pocket they will be marked defaulters. This would be very challenging to keep eye on everyone’s behavior throughout the party. This game requires constant observing skills and alertness.

• The person, who has good observation skills will have the maximum record of touches with him or her and will be the winner of the game

You could modify this game according to your imagination and requirements. You must set certain rules for this game like

• Everyone should keep their own record. Peeping in others’ record and copying it should not be allowed.
• The person should be honest while maintaining records. Fake records are not allowed.
• Set punishments for these offenders like:
  1. the person has to sing a song loudly
  2. the person should treat all guests with chocolates or ice-cream
  3. share their pastry or plate of finger food
  4. to dance on weird song (the song, which is not meant to dance like any love or silent song)
• You must keep an observer, who will keep a watch on all participants. Elderly people are good for this role.
• If you are holding bridal shower party for couples, then you can make two groups one of men or all husbands and second of all women or wives. In this case you can ask all husbands to keep eye on their wives and vice versa. So, the chances of cheating will be reduced. Rather this method to play Observation game will bring twist in the bridal shower party. In this case, you must declare two winners, one from the wives’ group and the other from husbands.

The hostess must honor the winner of the game with some extra pastry or cup cake or ice cream or any type of sweets.
