However, if you are creative enough, you can buy blank cards and write the matter yourself in a calligraphic writing. You can even draw a small floral painting on the top with water colors. You can cut those sheets into equal pieces depending on the size you want for the invitation card. Normally, if you choose bright colored paper, then writing in white or silver looks elegant. If it is a pastel shade you can use a purple, magenta, brown, blue or any other bride shade of ink to write the matter. You can be innovative in designing the bridal shower invitation. You can attach recipe cards along with the invitation cards to each guest except the bride. Tell them to write their favorite recipe on the card and bring it along on the day of the event. You can collect all those recipe cards and turn it into a recipe booklet for the bride.
